Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-02-042 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF MCDONALD SECOND <br />ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert H. and Barbara A. McDonald and William P. and Jeannette M. <br />Makowsky, hereafter referred to as "Developers", have properly applied for plat approval on the <br />following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Lots 1 and 2, McDonald Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Or upon recording: <br /> <br />Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 1, McDonald Second Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, on August 13, 2001, the City received application and sketch plan <br />from, Robert H. and Barbara A. McDonald and William P. and Jeannette M. Makowsky for <br />McDonald Second Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning Commission met on September 10, 2001, and <br />approved the sketch plan of McDonald Second Addition and directed the Developer to proceed <br />to the final plat stage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received the proposed final plat for approval on September 14, <br />2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the DEVELOPERS waived the 60-day decision rule to provide the City <br />with the opportunity to review its unwritten policy to require encumbering wetlands with <br />drainage and utility easements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 22, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted a policy that allows <br />for exemptions to the wetland encumbrance requirement on new lots created that are in excess of <br />10 acres in size. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants final plat approval to McDonald Second <br />Addition in accordance with relevant City Codes and contingent upon Developer entering <br />into a development agreement with the City and compliance with City Staff review letter <br />dated September 20, 2001, revised February 8, 2002. <br /> <br /> <br />
