Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-03-075 RESOLUTION APPROVING l0TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RICHARD KNUTSON, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-14 (TRUNK HIGHWAY #47 STP PROJECT) WHEREAS, on February 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project Trunk Highway #47 STP as a non-assessment project; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-04- 108 awarding the bid for Trunk Highway #47 STP project to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $4,288,321.34; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $59,051.84 less $3,240.00 invoiced by the City for water service for a total of 55,811.84. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. for Trunk Highway #47 STP in the amount of $59,051.84 less $3,240.00 invoiced by the City for water service for a total of $55,811.84. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of March 12th, 2001. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kurak upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: RESOLUTION #02-03-075 Page 1 of 2
