Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLTUION #02-05-109 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CHANGE ORDER NO 3 TO FOREST LAKE <br />CONTRACTING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-51, 153ra AVENUE NW/155TM <br />AVENUE N.W. EXTENSION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-08- <br />191 authorizing plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on Improvement Project <br />#99-51; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00- <br />11-292 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-51, 153rd/155th Avenue NW Extension to <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $716,399.48; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to improve the project by adding right turn lanes at the <br />intersection of Alpine and Variolite Street and Alpine and Armstrong Boulevard; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 26, 2002, the City Council ratified the recommendation to <br />prepare a change order for the additional work. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes Changer Order No 3 to Forest Lake Contracting for <br /> Improvement Project 99-51, Alpine Drive construction in the amount of $56,084.35. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the form for this <br /> change order. <br /> <br />3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided with a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly' seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br /> <br />
