1701114 Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-05-114 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0611 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO EXCEED SIGN SIZE RESTRICTIONS ESTABLISHED IN CITY CODE. WHEREAS, Rum River Plaza Associates, properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed pylon sign size established in City Code on the property generally known as 5900 - 167~ Avenue and legally described as follows: The north 426.29 feet as measured along the west line of that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section, 11, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying westerly of the center line of State Highway No. 47. Subject to road easements over the North and East 33 feet. ("Subject Property") WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on May 2, 2002, conducted the public hearing and recommended City CoUnCil approval °fthe reqUest. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. Based on Findings of Fact #0611, a conditional use permit ("Permit") to exceed pylon sign size is hereby granted Rum River Plaza Associates ("Permittee"). 2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to expand the existing pylon sign located on the Subject Property by 54 square feet per sign side. 3. The aggregate size of the freestanding pylon sign may not exceed an aggregate size of 290 square feet. 4. The freestanding pylon sign may not eXCeed the 25-foot height restriction. 5. The installation of the additional sign surface on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from the City of Ramsey. 6. The sign shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with Section 9.12 (Signs) of the Ramsey City Code.
