Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #02-05-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $25,000 FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY <br />FUND TO THE BUDGET OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO FUND A MARKET <br />ANALYSIS STUDY BY ASSOCIATED RETAIL CONSULTING. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the year 2002, the Ramsey City Council acted on matters impacting <br />expenditures budgets of the City's General Fund for items that were not included in the original <br />budget for the year ended December 31, 2002; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, included in the 2002 General Fund budget was $100,268 under the Council <br />Contingency, or Expenditure Reserve Fund to be used for items that were not included in the <br />various departments budgeted line items; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, $25,000 was authorized as the amount to fund a market analysis study. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That $25,000 will be transferred from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of <br />Community Development professional services line item for the funding of a market analysis <br />study by Associated Retail Consulting. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gamec and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Anderson <br /> Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
