Councihnember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-05-118 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE HIRING OF NANCY HINRICH TO FULL-TIME <br />ACCOUNTING CLERK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of March 12, 2002, City Council authorized staff to <br />begin the process to recruit for a full-time Accounting Clerk <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the position was posted internally with no letters of interest received and <br />then advertised externally and 39 applications were received; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, six candidates were interviewed by a panel consisting of the Finance <br />Officer, Finance Supervisor, and a representative from Labor Relations. The panel <br />recommended to the Personnel Committee to hire Nancy Hinrich for the full-time Accounting <br />Clerk position. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to ratify the hiring of Nancy Hinrich for the full-time Accounting <br />Clerk position. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Ms. Hinrich will be compensated at a wage of $15.9335/hour plus benefits and will <br />accrue two weeks of vacation per year. Ms. Hinrich's hiring is contingent on successful <br />completion of background checks, employment physical, and drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councihnember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
