Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-05-126 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $301,451.80 FROM THE EQUIPMENT REVOLING <br />FUND TO THE PUBLIC FACILTY CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR THE CITY HALL <br />REMODELING PROJECT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the March 26, 2002, City Council Meeting, staff was authorized to enter <br />into a contract with E&V Construction and BKV Group for the remodeling of City Hall in the <br />amount of $216,068; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding for the project is to come froTM the accumulated depreciation on the <br />City Hall building held in the Equipment Revolving Fund; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $301,451.80 is the total currently accumulated on the City Hall Building; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funds remaining at the end of the remodeling project would be transferred <br />back to the Equipment Revolving Fund. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That $301,451.80 in accumulated depreciated monies will be transferred from the Equipment <br />Revolving Fund to the Public Facilities Construction Fund to keep track of funding for the City <br />Hall Remodeling project. <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />Any Funds remaining at the end of the remodeling project will be transferred back to the <br />Equipment Revolving Fund. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
