Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-05-127 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0612 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1R SINGLE FAMILY <br />RURAL TO R-1U SINGLE FAMILY URBAN RESIDENTIAL. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 9, 2002, the City of Ramsey (the "City") received an application <br />from Oakwood Land Development to rezone the following legally described property from R-1R <br />Single Family Rural to R-1U Single Family Urban in accordance with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning <br />Amendments) of the Ramsey City Code: <br /> <br />Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Wildlife Sanctuary Addition, according to the recorded <br />plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota and that part of Lot 3, said Block 1 lying <br />Northerly of a line described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the most Northerly comer of said Lot 3, thence South 21 <br />degrees 50 minutes 14 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the Northeasterly <br />of said Lot 3, a distance of 115.79 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be <br />described; thence South 74 degrees 13 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of <br />163.50 feet to the Northwesterly line of said Lot 3 and there terminating. <br /> <br />(Subject Property) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on May 2, 2002, and said public hearing was properly advertised, and the <br />minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property to be rezoned is approximately 31.66 acres. <br /> <br />That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />Boundary. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is currently zoned R-IR, Single Family Rural. <br /> <br />That the 2001 Comprehensive Plan identifies the Subject Property for low-density <br />residential development and low density development has been established at 3 units per <br />acre. <br /> <br /> <br />
