Board Member Nixt introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-06-137 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CONSTRUCT A <br />GARAGE ON A CORNER LOT AT 15920 RADIUM STREET N.W. THAT WILL <br />ENCROACH ON THE SIDE YARD SETBACK. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Geno and Laurie Ronallo (Permittees) have properly applied for a variance <br />from Section 9.20.11 of the Ramsey City Code to construct an accessory structure that will <br />encroach on the side yard setback requirements on a comer lot generally known as 15920 <br />Radium St. N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 5, Block 1, Oak Run, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing on June 6, 2002, <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That based on Findings of Fact #0618, a variance to construct an accessory structure nearer <br />the side property line (159th Lane N.W. right-of-way line) than the setback of the principal <br />structure on the adjacent property to the west is hereby denied. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Board Member <br />Brauer, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Nixt <br /> Board Member Brauer <br /> Board Member Kociscak <br /> Board Member Reeve <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Resolution #02-06-137 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
