Councilmenqber Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # 02-06-146 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZING HIRING OF AN INTERIM HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the full-time Human Resources Manager resigned her position effective <br />June 11, 2002, thereby creating a vacancy in the Human Resources Manager position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is critical to continued effective operation of the City that this position be <br />filled on a interim and permanent basis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has recommended that staff be authorized to seek a <br />qualified candidate fill this position on an interim basis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Persmmel Committee has reviewed this matter and recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City Administrator is authorized to seek and hire a qualified candidate for the <br /> position of Interim Human Resources Manger to be compensated at a rate no greater than <br /> $30.00 per hour and not to exceed $5,000 per month. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Anderson <br /> Councihnember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
