RESOLUTION <br />POSITION <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #02-07-165 <br /> <br /> RECLASSIFYING THE CRIME PREVENTION SPECIALIST <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the Crime Prevention Specialist job description and <br />assigned job points to the skills, tasks, and responsibilities detailed in the job description; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based upon those job points and comparable wages for this position, staff <br />has determined that the position warrants a higher pay clasification. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to reclassify the position of Crime Prevention Specialist to a salary <br />of $36,334 minimum/S45,418 maximum. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That employee who currently occupies the Crime Prevention Specialist position, Chandra <br />Kreyer, based upon the recommendation of the Personnel Committee, be placed at Step 1 <br />of the new pay classification, retroactive to 01/01/02. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak <br /> <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council, <br /> this the 9th day of July, 2002. <br /> <br />.
