Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-07-166 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING THE TITLE OF AND RECLASSIFYING THE FULL- <br />TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER JOB DESRIPTION AND PAY SCALE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has revised the job description for the full-time Building Maintenance <br />Worker position occupied to reflect increased accountability for outcomes in the Building <br />Maintenance function and work direction for the part-time Building Maintenance Worker; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based upon those job points and comparable wages for this new position, <br />staff has determined that the position warrants a higher pay classification. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to reclassify the position and change the title of full-time Building <br />Maintenance Worker to Senior Building Maintenance Worker and a salary of $31,276 <br />minimum/S39,094 maximum, occupied by Dan Bray. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That employee who currently occupies the full-time Building Maintenance Worker <br />position, Dan Bray, based upon the recommendation of the Personnel Committee, be <br />placed at Step 3 of the new pay classification for Senior Building Maintenance Worker, <br />retroactive to 01/01/02. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councihnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak <br /> <br /> <br />
