Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #02-08-185 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING.THE HIRING OF JENNIE LOEFFLER TO FULL-TIME <br />ACCOUNTING CLERK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of July 23, 2002, City Council gave authorization to <br />hire an Accounting Clerk from a previous recruitment process to fill a vacancy due to the <br />resignation of an Accounting clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Loeffler began work on August 9th, 2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to ratify the hiring of Jennie Loeffler for the full-time Accounting <br />Clerk position. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Ms. Loeffler will be compensated at a rate of $30,129 (annually) with two weeks of <br />vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Ms. Loeffler's <br />hiling is contingent on successful completion of background checks, employment <br />physical, and drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />The motion roi' the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof'. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Counci hnember Kurak <br />Counci hnember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />~,JOlle <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br /> <br />
