Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #02-08-186 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME PATROL <br />OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ben Rossum was hired as a full-time Patrol Officer for the City of Ramsey <br />and began work on July 9th, 2001, subject to a one-year probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ben Rossum successfully completed his probationary period and his <br />performance was documented by the Police Chief, Sergeant Way, and Sergeant Kuhn; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 13th, 2002, meeting agreed with the <br />staff recommendation to end the probationary period for the full-time Patrol Officer, effective <br />July 10, 2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1 ) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Patrol Officer Ben <br /> Rossum effective July 10, 2002. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Anderson <br /> Councihnember Hendriksen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
