Councihnember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #02-08-188A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING AMY D1ETL FOR FULL-TIME CLERK II <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of August 13, 2002, City Council gave attthorization <br />to hire the Amy Dietl for the position of Clerk II from a previous recruitment process to fill a <br />vacancy due to the resignation of Nanci Libor, Clerk II; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Dietl, with Council approval will begin work on August 19th, 2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to hire Amy Dietl for the full-time Clerk II position. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Ms. Dietl will be compensated at a rate of $33,134 (mmually) with two weeks of <br />vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Ms. Dietl's hiring <br />is contingent on successful completion of background checks, employment physical, and <br />drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Anderson <br />Counci lmember Hendriksen <br />Councihnember Kurak <br />Counci hnember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />NOlle <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br /> <br />
