Councihnember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-08-188A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING AMY D1ETL FOR FULL-TIME CLERK II WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of August 13, 2002, City Council gave attthorization to hire the Amy Dietl for the position of Clerk II from a previous recruitment process to fill a vacancy due to the resignation of Nanci Libor, Clerk II; and WHEREAS, Ms. Dietl, with Council approval will begin work on August 19th, 2002. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to hire Amy Dietl for the full-time Clerk II position. 2) That Ms. Dietl will be compensated at a rate of $33,134 (mmually) with two weeks of vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Ms. Dietl's hiring is contingent on successful completion of background checks, employment physical, and drug/alcohol screen. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi Mayor Gamec Councihnember Anderson Counci lmember Hendriksen Councihnember Kurak Counci hnember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: NOlle and the following were absent: Nolle
