Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-09-213 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO FOREST LAKE CONTRACTING, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-51 (153/155TM AVENUE N.W. EXTENSION) WHEREAS, on August 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-08- 191 authorizing plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on Improvement Project #99- 51; and WHEREAS, on November 14, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00- 11-292 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #99-51, 153/155th Avenue N.W. Extension to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $716,399.48; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends the final payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $1,486.25. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the final payment to Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. for Improvement Project #99-51, 153/155th Avenue N.W. Extension project in the amount of $1,486.25. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of September 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: RESOLUTION #02-09-213 Page 1 of 2
