Councilmember Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-09-214 RESOLUTION APPROVING 11TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO RICHARD KNUTSON, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-14 (TRUNK HIGHWAY #47 STP PROJECT) WHEREAS, on February 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project Trunk Highway #47 STP as a non-assessment project; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-04- 108 awarding the bid for Trunk Highway #47 STP project to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $4,288,321.34; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends 11th partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $27,762.55. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 11th partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. for Trunk Highway #47 STP in the amount of $27,762.55. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of September 11th, 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Anderson upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: none and the following abstained: none and the following were absent: none RESOLUTION #02-09-214 Page 1 of 2
