Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-09-252 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE HIRING OF PATRICK C. LEADENS FOR HUMAN <br />RESOURCE MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of September 11, 2002, City Council gave <br />authorization to hire either Lori Kingston or Patrick Leadens to fill a vacancy due to the <br />resignation of Rhonda Heryla, Human Resource Manager in June of this year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has reached an agreement with Mr. Patrick Leadens and he has <br />committed to begin work on September 25th, 2002. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to ratify the hiring of Patrick Leadens for the full-time Human <br />Resource Manager position. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Mr. Leadens will be compensated at a rate of $ 61,049.00 with tln'ee weeks of <br />vacation and be required to complete a six-month probationary period. Mr. Leadens' <br />hiring is contingent on successful completion of background checks, employment <br />physical, and drug/alcohol screen. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmelnber Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmelnber Hendriksen <br />Councilmelnber Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br /> <br />
