Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #02-10-266 RESOLUTION' APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP, INC FOR 2002 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION A (IP #02-01 - 02-10) WHEREAS, on May 14, 2002, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and specifications and advertisement for bids on 2002 Street Maintenance Program - Division A, and WHEREAS, on June 11, 2002, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #02-06-141 awarding the bid for Improvement Street Maintenance Program - Division A Allied Blacktop, Inc. amount of $162,601.00, and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. in the amount of $139,317.97. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. in the amount of $24,527.97. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Allied Blacktop, Inc. for Improvement Project 2002 Street Maintenance Program - Division A in the amount of $24,527.97. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of October 22, 2002. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
