Councilmember Hendrik~en introduced the following resolution and moved for it's adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-11-287 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNISHINGS AND <br />COMPUTER HARDWARE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM THE <br />EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND NOT TO EXCEED $5,716 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends the replacement of existing file cabinets and purchase of <br />additional work surfaces and accessories to accommodate office reconfigurations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff also recommends the replacement of existing computer hardware and <br />the purchase of additional computers, printers and accessories to accommodate current needs; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the office furnishings can be fully funded from <br />the Equipment Replacement Fund in an amount not to exceed $ 2,749.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the computer hardware can be fully funded <br />utilizing <br />$ 1,238.00 fi'om the equipment replacement fund and $ 1,729.00 from the 2002 Capital <br />Computer Hardware and Software police account. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of office furnishings and <br />computer hardware from the Equipment Replacement Fund and the 2002 Capital <br />Computer Hardware police account in an amount not to exceed a grand total of $ <br />5,716.00. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
