Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-11-295 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #02-40, THE EXTENSION OF SANITARY <br />SEWER AND WATERMAIN TO SERVICE THE OAK TERRACE ESTATES MOBILE <br />HOME PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a letter of petition requesting a feasibility study to <br />consider the extension of sanitary sewer and watermain to the Oak Terrace Estates mobile home <br />park, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the petition has been signed on behalf of Robert Larson, owner of the park, <br /> <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Larson represents 100% of the parties benefited by the extension of <br />sewer and water utilities to the mobile home site, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statues concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the extension of sewer and <br /> watermain to the Oak Terrace mobile home park has been filed with the City Council on <br /> November 26, 2002 and; <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected <br />property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section <br />4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to the City Engineering Department and directed to <br />prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of <br />the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to <br />whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />4) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project #02-40. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
