Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #02-12-313 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PROMOTION OF POLICE PATROL OFFICER <br />THOMAS LUECK TO THE POSITION OF FULL-TIME POLICE CORPORAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 26, 2002, Council authorized staff to internally recruit for the <br />position of full-time Police Corporal; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the posting for the Police Corporal position was properly posted internally <br />with five Police Officers responding; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all five responding Police Officers were interviewed by a staff panel on <br />December 4, 2002, and the panel has recommended to the Personnel Committee to promote <br />Police Patrol Officer Thomas Lueck to the position of full-time Police Corporal. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to promote Police Patrol Officer Thomas Lueck to the position of <br /> full-time Police Corporal. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Anderson <br /> Councilmember Hendriksen <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly pa~y Council <br /> th <br />this the 10 day of December, 2002. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
