Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />• <br />RESOLUTION #01 -01 -028 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF THE FOLLOWING POLICE SQUAD <br />REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT: (2) RADAR UNITS, (2) FIRST AID KITS AND (1) <br />SIREN /LIGHT CONTROLLER IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,140.09 FROM THE <br />EQUIPMENT REVOLVING FUND <br />WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee of January 23, 2001, staff presented a request for <br />the purchase of replacement squad car equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the equipment consisted of two radar units, two first aid kits and one <br />siren/light controller; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the replacement equipment can be funded from <br />the Equipment Replacement Fund in the amount of $4,140,.09 utilizing funding established from <br />outdated equipment. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of replacement squad equipment in <br />the amount of $4,140.09 from the Equipment Revolving Fund. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Zimmerman, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />and the following voted against: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
