• • Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01 -01 -032 RESOLUTION AMENDING 2001 SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES WHEREAS, the current Schedule of Rates and Charges was adopted by the Ramsey City Council under Resolution #00 -12 -336 on December 12, 2000; and WHEREAS, the 2001 adopted Enterprise budgets pertaining to Water, Sewer, Street Lights, Recycling, and Storm Water Utility were not completed as of this date; and WHEREAS, after completion of 2001 Enterprise budgets pertaining to the Water and Sewer Utility Funds, it was determined that a rate increase was necessary to offset the addition of a second water tower, a fifth well and an increase in overall costs in the operation of these utilities; and WHEREAS, at the City Council Meeting of January 23, 2001, staff recommended approval of the attached Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges with the outlined amendments to the Water and Sewer Utility Funds. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the attached 2001 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges is hereby amended to establish the necessary increases in rate charges pertaining to Water and Sewer. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Kurak and the following voted against: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
