Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #18-065 RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND RE -APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, 2018; and WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County Union, on the City's website, on the City's community sign, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, and via the city's email notification system; and WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 20, 2018; and WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following appointments to the boards and commissions, as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Motion to adopt resolution #18-065 appointing the following board and commission members, effective April 1, 2018: 1) to the Environmental Policy Board, Ms. Laura Moore to a term ending March 31, 2022; and 2) to the Park and Rec.Commission, Mr. Shane Bennett to a term ending March 31, 2022; and 3) to the Planning Commission, Mr. Randy Bauer to a term ending March 31, 2022; and 4) to the Planning Commission, Mr. Gary Van Scoy to a term ending March 31, 2022;and 5) to the Planning Commission, Mr. Daniel Onyambu to a term ending March 31, 2019. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of March, 2018.
