Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-065 <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND RE -APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, <br />2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br />Union, on the City's website, on the City's community sign, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, <br />and via the city's email notification system; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 20, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following appointments to the <br />boards and commissions, as follows: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #18-065 appointing the following board and commission members, <br />effective April 1, 2018: <br />1) to the Environmental Policy Board, Ms. Laura Moore to a term ending March 31, 2022; and <br />2) to the Park and Rec.Commission, Mr. Shane Bennett to a term ending March 31, 2022; and <br />3) to the Planning Commission, Mr. Randy Bauer to a term ending March 31, 2022; and <br />4) to the Planning Commission, Mr. Gary Van Scoy to a term ending March 31, 2022;and <br />5) to the Planning Commission, Mr. Daniel Onyambu to a term ending March 31, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 27th day of March, 2018. <br />
