CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA - <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 10, 2002, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Anderson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Winslow Holasek, 1159 Andover Boulevard, Andover, read the following letter to the Council. <br />"Re: My request at citizen input at the October 22, 2002 and November 26, 2002 City Council <br />meetings for any information supplied to the City Council by the City Administrator on <br />responses he got from property owners to his letter of August 7, 2001. Apparently there seems to <br />be some confusion as to whom I asked to respond to my above question. Why, I don't know? <br />Both letters were specifically addressed to the mayor and each City Council person, not Mr. <br />Norman to personally answer the above question in writing directly to me. Therefore, there <br />shouldn't have been any confusion as to who I was asking to respond to the question in my <br />October 22 and November 26 letters. Last Saturday, December 7, I received another letter from <br />Mr. Norman, dated December 5, 2002. Once again this letter of his failed to answer the above <br />question, as did his first letter of November 21, 2002. Mr. Norman never told us either orally or <br />in writing that he informed the City Council what our response to his August 7, 2001 letter was. <br />In fact we never received any written correspondence from Mr. Norman on the matter.
