Voting No: None. <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />Authorize the Appointment of Three Members to the Ramsey Town Center Task <br />Force Committee <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he would like to table discussions on the issue of appointing members <br />to the Ramsey Town Center Task Force since two of the members on the Task Force have <br />recently been elected to the City Council. He felt that after the first of the year the Council <br />should decide whether or not they would like the Task Force to continue. It seemed as if the <br />Task Force has put a significant amount of information together and it was getting to the point <br />where the Council will have to start making some decisions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak agreed especially since there will be four new members on the Council <br />after the first of the year. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson agreed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that the aCtion before them was the Town Center Task Force <br />asking to expand the size of the group, which no other group has been given the right to do. He <br />agreed that there should be more discussion on the issue after the fist of the year. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to delay the appointments to <br />the Town Center Task Force until after the first of the year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, and <br />Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />7) <br /> <br />Planning Commission Interviews <br />The Personnel Committee conducted four interviews, but made no recommendation to <br />the Council due to the lack of time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired as to what needs they have on the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he did not think that they should be discussing any of the <br />issues off camera. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquired if the Council were to go off camera to discuss the candidates, could they <br />make an appointment. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich replied that the meeting is still open to the public, it will only be off <br />cam era. <br /> <br />City Council/November 12, 2002 <br /> Page 20 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
