<br />Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #18-065 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND RE-APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />there are open seats on the City’s boards and commissions as of April 1, <br />2018; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br />Union, on the City’s website, on the City’s community sign, on QCTV, on the City’s Facebook, <br />and via the city's email notification system; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City Council conducted interviews on March 20, 2018; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following appointments to the <br />boards and commissions, as follows: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTAas follows: <br />, <br /> <br />Motion to adopt resolution #18-065 appointing the following board and commission members, <br />effective April 1, 2018: <br /> <br /> <br />1)to the Environmental Policy Board, Ms. Laura Moore to a term ending March 31, 2022; and <br /> <br />2)to the Park and Rec.Commission, Mr. Shane Bennett to a term ending March 31, 2022; and <br /> <br />3)to the Planning Commission, Mr. Randy Bauer to a term ending March 31, 2022; and <br /> <br />4)to the Planning Commission, Mr. Gary Van Scoy to a term ending March 31, 2022;and <br /> <br />5)to the Planning Commission, Mr. Daniel Onyambu to a term ending March 31, 2019. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
