Councilmcmbcr Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #04-12-362 RESOI,UTION APPROVING 1ST CONTRACTING INC. #04-35 EXTENSION AND FINAL PAYMENT TO DAVE PERKINS ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD WATERMAIN WIlEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the construction of Sunwood Drive NW and Rhinestone Street NW Utility and Street Improvements; and WIIEREAS, on October 12, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-10- XXX awarding the contract for 19 #04-35 to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $38,592.00; and WltEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and rccommcnds 1~t and final payment to Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. in the amount of $36,205.21. NOW TltEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: l) That thc City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. I:or improvement Project #04-35 in the amount of $36,205.21. 2) That thc City Council hereby accepts the project and. authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. :~ 3) That thc total amount of this payment is nOt included in resolutions approving payment of bills Ibr thc date of December 14, 2004. · 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this rcsolution. : Thc motion for thc adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councihnember Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and thc following voted against the same: DODO RESOLUTION #04-12-362 Page 1 of 2
