CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID <br />North Valley, Inc. $303,756.46 <br />Douglas-Kerr Underground, LLC $335,706.40 <br />Asphalt Surface Technologies, Corp. $336,595.45 <br />GMH Asphalt, Corp. $352,597.43 <br />Omann Contracting Companies, Inc. $353,300.16 <br />Midwest Asphalt Services $377,017.00 <br />Hardrives, Inc. $378,113.27 <br />Park Construction Company $405,318.27 <br />Northwest Asphalt $414,791.59 <br />Engineer’s Estimate $363,783.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the bid of North Valley, Inc. of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$303,756.46 for the total bid for construction of said improvements in accordance with the <br />approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder and <br />their bid shall be and hereby is accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, Chapter 8 of the City <br /> <br />Charter, and the City of Ramsey’s adopted Special Assessments Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bids at such time that a contract has been executed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Resolution #18-059 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
