Information Title: Check in —Schematic Design Process for Municipal Plaza and the Water -Centric Park in The COR Purpose/Background: As the Commission may recall, a recommendation to proceed to the schematic design phase for two remaining park ares in The COR occurred earlier, with City Council approving this project in December of 2017. As this process is underway, the purpose of this case is to 'check -in' on the direction of this planning endeavor. Notification: Observations/Alternatives: The several attachments include various aspects of background on the Municipal Plaza and the water -centric park space, as well as the latest iteration of concept plans with programming elements depicted. Staff will go through the key aspects of these at the meeting. Funding Source: This case does not require funding. Recommendation: Staff recommends a review of the attachments for a refresher on some of the prior public input on the parks spaces in The COR. Action: Based upon discussion, provide staff feed -back on the direction of the planning for the park areas in The COR.
