The proposal above meets this objective, by connecting Rum River Central Regional <br />Park to the proposed Rum River Regional Trail (potentially west of the river, as described above) and does not <br />duplicate an existing trail. Moreover, by designating the Trott Brook Greenway as a regional trail, it will function <br />as described by the Council "...two major types of trails to serve the region: 1) destination orgreenway trails and 2) linking <br />trails".
