Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #18-076 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON PUMA STREET NW, FROM BUNKER LAKE BOULEVARD NW TO ALPINE DRIVE NW, CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #18-05, STATE AID PROJECT #199-109-006 AND #199-121-002 WHEREAS, City Improvement Project #18-05 proposes to improve Puma Street NW, State Aid Route No. 199-109-006, from Bunker Lake Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to Alpine Drive NW, and Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, State Aid Route No. 199-121-002, from Armstrong Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to Puma Street NW, located within the City of Ramsey, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the proposed street improvements do not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of Bunker Lake Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) and Puma Street NW, and approval of the proposed street improvements as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions; and WHEREAS, on March 22, 2011, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #11-03-079 prohibiting parking at all times on Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, State Aid Route No. 199-121-001, from Armstrong Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to Puma Street NW. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles at all times on both sides of Puma Street NW, State Aid Route No. 199-109-006, from Bunker Lake Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to Alpine Drive NW. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Strommen Councilmember Johns Councilmember LeTourneau Councilmember Kuzma Councilmember Riley Councilmember Shryock and the following voted against the same: None
