Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-075 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANOKA RAMSEY ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION <br />APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT THE <br />LINKS OF NORTHFORK IN RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has applied for a premise permit <br />for gambling at The Links of Northfork, 9333 Alpine Drive NW, Ramsey. <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association has requested Council waive the <br />60-day notice provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Depailinent of Gaming requires <br />the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) <br />2) <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Anoka Ramsey Youth Association to operate lawful gambling at The Links of <br />Northfork, 9333 Alpine Drive NW, Ramsey. <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 9th day of April 2018. <br />Mayor <br />
