Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-076 <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON PUMA STREET NW, FROM BUNKER <br />LAKE BOULEVARD NW TO ALPINE DRIVE NW, CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />#18-05, STATE AID PROJECT #199-109-006 AND #199-121-002 <br />WHEREAS, City Improvement Project #18-05 proposes to improve Puma Street <br />NW, State Aid Route No. 199-109-006, from Bunker Lake Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to <br />Alpine Drive NW, and Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, State Aid Route No. 199-121-002, from <br />Armstrong Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to Puma Street NW, located within the City of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed street improvements do not provide adequate width for <br />parking on both sides of Bunker Lake Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) and Puma Street NW, and <br />approval of the proposed street improvements as a Municipal State Aid Street project must <br />therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 22, 2011, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution <br />#11-03-079 prohibiting parking at all times on Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, State Aid <br />Route No. 199-121-001, from Armstrong Boulevard NW (CSAH 83) to Puma Street NW. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles at all times on both sides <br />of Puma Street NW, State Aid Route No. 199-109-006, from Bunker Lake Boulevard <br />NW (CSAH 83) to Alpine Drive NW. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
