Council Update Council Candidate Filing is Closed. The filing period for the vacant seats on Council closed at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5. Following is a list of the filings: Mayor: Andy Hillebregt, John LeTourneau and Richard Wulf, Councilmember At-Large: Chris Riley, Councilmember Ward 1: Nadine Heinrich and Jill Johns, Councilmember Ward 3: Mike Olson and Melody Shryock, and Councilmember Ward 4: Ralph Brauer, Skip Carlson and Debra Musgrove. Candidates have until 5:00 p.m., today, Thursday, June 7, to withdraw their affidavit. The races on the Primary Ballot will be the Mayoral and Councilmember Ward 4. The two candidates in each of those races receiving the most votes will move on to the General Election Ballot. A primary is not necessary for the races with two or less candidates.
