A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #~ RELATING TO A REQUEST FROM CITY OF R4AMSEY pUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO ALLOW FOR A TEMPORARY MODULAR OFFICE STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14100 JASPAR ST NW :FOR AN INTERIM PERIOD OF TIME. City of Ramsey Public Works Department, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly applied to the City of. Ramsey (the' "City") for an Interim 'Use Permit to place a temporary modular office structure on the isame'parcel as .their existing facility for an interim period of time on the property generally known as 14100 Jaspar St NW and legally described as follows: Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North Industriall Park, Anoka County, MinnesOta (the "Subject Property") ' NOW THEREFORE, BE IT REsoLVED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA cOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on January 6', 2005 and that the public hearing was properly advertised.and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the Subject Property is apProXimately 8.25 acres in size and is zoned E-2 Employment District; the surround~g properties to the west, north,' and east are zoned E- 2 Employment District and the properties south of the railroad-tracks are zoned H-1 Business District. 2) 3) 4) That Section 9.03.06(1) (Interim Use 'Permits) of the Ramsey City Code allows for interim uses to allow a use for a limited Period of time that reasonably utilizes the property where it is not reasonable to utilize it in the manner provided by the comprehensive guide' and to alloW a .use that is presently acceptable but that, with anticipated development will not be ac%ptable in the future. That the Applicant submitted an apPlication requesting an Interim Use Permit to place a temporary modular office structure ot~ the Subject Property to provide Public Works' staff office space, a training area and a lunch room. 5) 6) That the office space in the existing facility will be converted into additional inside storage space. That the proposed temporary modular office structure shall conform to the State Fire and Building Codes. ~ 7) That the temporary modular, office structure will be connected to sewer and water lines.
