Councihnember introduced.0ae following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> R. sOLUTION' #0S-01. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #~ RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM CITY OF R4AMSEY pUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO ALLOW <br />FOR A TEMPORARY MODULAR OFFICE STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 14100 JASPAR ST NW :FOR AN INTERIM PERIOD OF TIME. <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey Public Works Department, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", <br />properly applied to the City of. Ramsey (the' "City") for an Interim 'Use Permit to place a <br />temporary modular office structure on the isame'parcel as .their existing facility for an interim <br />period of time on the property generally known as 14100 Jaspar St NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North Industriall Park, Anoka County, MinnesOta <br /> (the "Subject Property") ' <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT REsoLVED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA cOUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br /> pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on January 6', 2005 and that the <br /> public hearing was properly advertised.and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br /> hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br /> That the Subject Property is apProXimately 8.25 acres in size and is zoned E-2 <br /> Employment District; the surround~g properties to the west, north,' and east are zoned E- <br /> 2 Employment District and the properties south of the railroad-tracks are zoned H-1 <br /> Business District. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That Section 9.03.06(1) (Interim Use 'Permits) of the Ramsey City Code allows for <br />interim uses to allow a use for a limited Period of time that reasonably utilizes the <br />property where it is not reasonable to utilize it in the manner provided by the <br />comprehensive guide' and to alloW a .use that is presently acceptable but that, with <br />anticipated development will not be ac%ptable in the future. <br /> <br />That the Applicant submitted an apPlication requesting an Interim Use Permit to place a <br />temporary modular office structure ot~ the Subject Property to provide Public Works' staff <br />office space, a training area and a lunch room. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />6) <br /> <br />That the office space in the existing facility will be converted into additional inside <br />storage space. <br /> <br />That the proposed temporary modular office structure shall conform to the State Fire and <br />Building Codes. ~ <br /> <br />7) That the temporary modular, office structure will be connected to sewer and water lines. <br /> <br /> <br />
