• <br /> Commissioner Van Scoy introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#16-12-216 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CUL-DE-SAC <br /> LENGTH IN THE PLAT OF WOODLANDS 4TH ADDITION AND DECLARING TERMS <br /> OF SAME. <br /> WHEREAS, U.S. Home Corporation, dba Lennar. (Permittee), has properly applied for a <br /> variance from the maximum cul-de-sac length prescribed in Section 117-614, Subd. (c)(3) on <br /> portions of the property legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 1-2, Block 1, Lots 1-10 (inclusive), Block 2, Lots 1-15 (inclusive), Block 3 and <br /> Outlot A, Woodlands 4th Addition <br /> (the "Subject Property"); <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on December 1, 2016, conducted the public <br /> hearing and adopted Findings of Fact #0972 relating to the request for a variance from the <br /> maximum cul-de-sac length on the Subject Property. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF <br /> THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows <br /> 1. Based on Findings of Fact #0972, a variance to the 600-foot cul-de-sac length, as <br /> established in Section 117-614, Subd. (c)(3) of the Ramsey City Code, is hereby granted <br /> for the Subject Property. <br /> 2. The variance allows for a cul-de-sac to be constructed an additional approximately 400 feet <br /> which will extend an existing cul-de-sac to an approximate total length of 1300 feet. <br /> 3. No construction of any building shall commence without the issuance of a building permit. <br /> 3. The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br /> enforcing this variance. <br /> 4. That this variance shall become null and void if not initiated by December 1, 2017 and <br /> initiation shall be considered recording of the Final Plat of Woodlands 4th Addition. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br /> Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Chairperson Bauer <br /> Commissioner Van Scoy <br /> Commissioner Anderson <br /> Commissioner Brauer <br /> Commissioner Nosan <br /> Commissioner Surma <br />
