Councilmember Pearson introduced thefollowing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-10-328 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0705 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE AS A PRINCIPAL USE ON A <br />PARCEL ZONED E-2 EMPLOYMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bruce Volk, of B & A Cylinder Head, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicant", has properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for <br />outdoor storage as a secondary principal use on the property located at 14165 Ramsey Blvd. <br />legally described as follows: <br /> <br />All that part of the west 31 rods of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter <br />of Section 27, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as <br />follows: Commencing at a point on the west line thereof, distant 335.51 feet south <br />from the northwest comer thereof, as measured along said west line; thence south <br />along said west line a distance of 335,51 feet, more or less, to its intersection with <br />the northerly right of way line of Northern Pacific Railway; thence southeasterly <br />along said northerly right of way line to its intersection with the east line of said west <br />31 rods; thence north along said east line thereof a distance of 448.92 feet, more or <br />less, to a point on said east line ithereof distant 448.92 feet south from the northeast <br />corner of said west 31 rods as measured along said east line thereof; thence <br />northwesterly in a straight line to the point of beginning. Except Parcel 2, Anoka <br />County Highway Right of Way Plat #16. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on October 7, 2004, and that the public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />by reference. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is zoned E-2 Employment; the adjacent parcels to the north, east, <br />and west are zoned E-2 Employment; the property is bounded on the south by the Burlington <br />Northern Santa Fe Railroad. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately 4.5 acres. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicant operates a 6, 344 square foot manufacturing business as the principal use. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is also storing Recreational Vehicles (RV's) and travel trailers for RV <br />World as a secondary principal use and City Code does not permit two principal on the <br />Subject Property. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />That the Applicant is requesting an interim use permit to allow for the storage of up to 70 <br />RV's and/or travel trailers in the rear yard of the Subject Property from November 1, 2004 to <br />August 1, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
