Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-066 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING/DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF A HOME OCCUPATION <br />PERMIT TO OPERATE A LANDSCAPING AND CONCRETE CONTRACTING BUSINESS ON <br />THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5751 177' AVENUE NW 164' BASED ON FINDINGS OF <br />FACT #0985 AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Travis Longfield requesting a home <br />occupation permit to operate Tracer Landscaping and Concrete Inc., on the property generally known as <br />5751 175th Ave NW and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Echo Ridge 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating to the request are <br />determined to be as follows: <br />1. That on October 15, 2017 Travis Longfield, herein referred to as the "Applicant", submitted a <br />completed Home Occupation Supplemental Questionnaire <br />2. That on February 28, 2018 the Applicant applied for a home occupation permit to operate Tracer <br />Landscaping and Concrete Inc., (the "Home Occupation") on the Subject Property. <br />3. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 117-51 of the City Code on April 5, 2018, and that said public hearing was <br />properly advertised. <br />4. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing), and the surrounding <br />parcels are also zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing). <br />5. That the Subject Property is approximately 7.92 acres and is surrounded by lots of similar sizes <br />to the north, south, and west and slightly smaller lots to the east. <br />6. That the Subject Property is guided as Rural Developing on the City's Future Land Use Map. <br />7. That the Applicant owns and occupies the dwelling unit on the site of the Home Occupation. <br />8. That there is currently exterior evidence of the existence of the Home Occupation on the Subject <br />Property including the parking/storing of commercial vehicles and equipment as well as a large <br />gravel parking area which is used primarily for the storage and maneuvering of equipment related <br />to the Home Occupation. <br />9. That the commercial vehicles and equipment currently stored outside on the Subject Property <br />include: one (1) Ford F-450 Pickup Truck (Applicants Personal Vehicle), one (1) Ford F-250 <br />pickup truck, one (1) Ford F-550 Dump Truck, one (1) enclosed trailer, two (2) flatbed trailers, two <br />(2) skidsteer loaders, and one (1) excavator. <br />
