Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #18-080 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR BUNKER LAKE BOULEVARD AND PUMA <br />STREET PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #18-05 <br />WHEREAS, in 2006, Bunker Lake Boulevard was extended west of Armstrong <br />Boulevard and Puma Street was constructed between Bunker Lake Boulevard and Alpine Drive, <br />portions of which were constructed using temporary pavement sections; and <br />WHEREAS, sanitary sewer and watermain improvements were recently completed <br />along the west end of Bunker Lake Boulevard, east of its intersection with Puma Street, and are <br />currently being completed under Puma Street north of Bunker Lake Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, the streets above and along the utility improvements require reconstruction <br />or replacement to support current and future development along these streets; and <br />WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk, Inc. prepared the plans and specifications for the Puma <br />Street utility improvements, including preliminary roadway design work, which assisted in <br />completing final plans and specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #17-12-316, adopted <br />December 12, 2017, Bolton & Menk, Inc. was designated as the engineer for this improvement <br />and was ordered to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, Bolton & Menk completed plans and specifications for the purpose of <br />advertising for bids for the same improvements. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the final plans and specifications prepared by <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. for the making of such improvements, and authorizes the <br />advertisement of bids for the same improvements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Resolution #18-080 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
