CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, January 11, <br />2005, at the Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Community Development Director/HRA Executive <br />Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Director of Public Works Brian Olson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />I) Financing of 2005 Projects (General direction) <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman explained the presentation on the entire bonding package will not be <br />complete until the next work session. However, direction is needed regarding the municipal <br />project prior to the EDA meeting tomorrow morning. The lease revenue bond is done through <br />the EDA, and staff needs direction as to the figures on the project. He explained Councilmember <br />Jeffrey recently asked why the City is not going ahead with the third floor of the City Hall <br />portion of the municipal project and the second floor of the police facility at this time. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session/January 11, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
