Motion by Councilmember Shryock, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Shryock, Kuzma, <br />Johns, and Riley. Voting No: None. <br />City Administrator Ulrich noted that the City Charter requires four affirmative votes to pass an <br />action and therefore even though a vote may appear to pass in favor, actions must receive four <br />affirmative votes to pass. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARING <br />6.01: Public Hearing to Consider Approval of an On -Sale, Patio, and Sunday Liquor <br />License for LLBatsche LLC, dba Kitchen Table located in the City of Ramsey at <br />7533 Sunwood Drive NW, Suite 110 <br />Presentation <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report and recommendation to <br />approve the on -sale, patio and Sunday liquor license for LLBatsche dba Kitchen Table. <br />Public Hearing <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to open the public hearing <br />at 7:10 p.m. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor LeTourneau, Councilmembers Riley, Johns, <br />Kuzma, and Shryock. Voting No: None. <br />Citizen Innut <br />Linnea Batsche stated that she has always had a dream to have her own restaurant and has been <br />in the industry for 15 years. She stated that her business will be a bistro which will provide some <br />variety to the current offerings in the community. She stated that she currently lives in Anoka <br />and is excited to be a part of Ramsey, which is an up and coming community. <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked the anticipated opening date. <br />Ms. Batsche replied that the scheduled date is July 23rd, dependent upon the upcoming health <br />inspection. <br />Councilmember Riley asked for additional input on the patio use. <br />Ms. Batsche replied that currently there are about four tables which would hold 12 to 16 people. <br />She stated that in the future changes may be made to seating. She stated that all servers would be <br />aged 18 or over and would be trained on the serving of alcohol.
