Tim I received a letter on the preliminary plat for 40 new townhouses. I can not make this meeting. So I <br />would like to give you feed back. We do NOT need any more townhouses here. I live in the town houses <br />here and all it does is bring in trash. We have enough houses and town houses in this city. I have lived in <br />this city all my life and the reason I choose to stay is because of less population and less stores, <br />restaurants etc. if I wanted to be near all that I would live near that. If people don't like it move closer to <br />a city that does. Like the ghetto CoonRapids. I work in CoonRapids and to go 12 miles one way takes 45 <br />min. To an hour to get to and from work I don't need more people on Hwy 10 to make my day longer. <br />This is one of the last cities close to the cities that has very little and I do NOT want to see one more <br />thing built here. Like I said I have lived here for all most 50 years and tired of seeing trash come here. <br />When the housing market crashed it really got bad in these townhouses and most of them are being <br />rented so people don't care and park on the street thinking it's there driveway making it hard for others <br />because the roads are narrow good luck getting a fire truck in. All the people around me rent and I know <br />this for sure as I bought my townhouse in 2007 so I get to know people and my mother lives in the <br />neighbor down the street where I grew up. Do not build these townhouses because all u get is renters <br />because people eventually want a house and use the townhouse for extra income which I'm sure u do <br />not know or a lot of people don't know.
