WHEREAS, <br /> pursuant to Ramsey City Council resolution #18-113, adopted June 12, <br />2018, the Ramsey City Council approved Change Order #1 in the amount of $2,000.00, resulting <br />in a total contract cost in the amount of $546,224.86; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />as of July 24, 2018 $0.00 has been paid to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Senior Engineering Technician has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to North Valley, Inc. for Improvement Project 18-03, Street Overlay <br />Improvements, in the amount of $449,858.15. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council hereby approves partial payment to North Valley, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #18-03, 2018 Street Overlay Improvements, in the amount of <br />$449,858.15. <br /> <br /> <br />2)That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of July 24, 2018. <br /> <br /> <br />4)That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Shryock, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #18-155 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
