Councilmember <br /> <br />introditced the folloWing i'eSolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLIJTION #05-02-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05~08 ~ITUMINOUS OVERLAY SORTEBERG'S 4T" <br />ADDITION, SORTEBERG'S 5;~ ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works Committee, adopted <br />January 18, 2005, a feasibility study fOr th6 2005 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared <br />by Steve Jankowski, Ci;ty Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #05-08 (Bituminous <br />Overlay Sorteberg's 4th Additioni sorteberg's 5tn Addition); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 08, 2005 <br />which indicates the following: ~ i <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br /> <br />$39,255 <br /> <br />Estimated total aSsessment $19,627 <br /> <br />Estimated assessment per unit $934.63 <br />(1 O-year term) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, iBE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the RamseY City Council: will cOnsider the improvements of Bituminous Overlay of <br /> such streets in a.ccordanee with the,report and the assessment of abutting property for all <br /> or a portion of the cost of the.improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 <br /> and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $39,255. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8th day of <br /> March, 2005 at Ramsey Fire Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. and <br /> the City Administrator shall !give,mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br /> improvement as required by laW. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoPtion of the foregOing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereOn, the following Voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted ,against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION#05-02-XXX <br /> page 1 :of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
