RecentlY, Pulte Homes has discussed with staff an idea for <br />an 800 unit residential development West 'of Town Center. Staff would like to propose master <br />planning of the area, rather than someone else dictating how they would like the area to be. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated staff would suggest the City work with Mike Gair of MFRA <br />on this process and will be bringing a co~nplete recommendation to the Council at the regular <br />meeting. He would like to move on this as quickly as possible, so the City is not reacting to the <br />developer. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig indicated he Will be abstaining from discussions on the planning in this <br />area due to possible conflict of interest. ~ <br /> <br />5) Special Event Permit - Diamond's Sports Bar <br /> <br />Moved up in the agenda to precede agenda item no. 4. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br /> <br />1) Upcoming Meetings <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman announced the Council workshop is scheduled for February 9th and <br />l0th, ending at noon on ~the l0th. Staff woUld like to schedule a joint meeting with the Planning <br />Commission for the night of February l0th. Mayor Gamec requested the meeting be scheduled <br />for February 17th.
