lour 1111.1siion: To work together to reiposibty grow our community, and to provide quality, coat -effective, and efficient government ierrlcas. <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) 4. 3. <br />Meeting Date: 08/09/2018 <br />By: Monika Maxey, Community <br />Development <br />Title: <br />2018 City of Ramsey Resident Survey <br />Purpose/Background: <br />PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this case is to review and discuss the attached 2018 citizen survey results. <br />BACKGROUND (resident survey): <br />As a result of the 2013 Council strategic planning process, direction was provided to initiate a regular, statistically <br />significant, resident surveying process (one survey every two years). Generally, survey results benefit the City in a <br />wide range of applications (budgeting process, policy discussions, capital improvement plan, strategic plan, <br />comprehensive plan, etc.). The City has now completed a resident survey in 2014, 2016, and 2018 (see attached) <br />and consequently, now has trend data for the community over this period. <br />Notification: <br />NA <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Revised questions: <br />Below are some of the additional questions added for the 2018 survey: <br /># 11, updated to also include ratings for Anoka County and State of Minnesota. <br /># 16, updated to now include a rating for a new community center. Ratings for business incubators were <br />dropped. <br />#19, added back in this question Rregarding the long-term street maintenance program. Dropped the two <br />questions previously included regarding code violations and land use permits. <br />Funding Source: <br />
