Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br />Meeting Date: 06/14/2018 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />Title: <br />Receive Update on Ramsey Brewery; Case of Tim and Corrin O'Shaughnessy <br />5. 2. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to review an update on a concept for adaptive reuse of the former Wirz's Nursery at <br />17201 Saint Francis Blvd NW. The Owner desires to repurpose this vacant building as a microbrewery. This is not <br />an official application. <br />Notification: <br />Notification is not required, but a neighborhood meeting was held on June 7, 2018. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />The City has not yet taken a position on this proposal. The City is solely taking initial input from the public at this <br />time. The primary concern at this point appears to be traffic safety with a direct access onto Saint Francis <br />Boulevard. Further updates will be provided if this project proceeds through the normal review process,. <br />Funding Source: <br />This case is being handled as part of normal Staff duties.
