Mobility 2040 is Hennepin County's multi -modal <br />long-range transportation plan providing overarching <br />guidance for the county's transportation system. <br />Mobility 2040 represents our focus on an <br />integrated, seamless transportation system <br />to serve people — all people — efficiently, <br />affordably and safely. <br />Mobility 2040 provides guidance to enhance and <br />expand transportation access for all while ensuring that <br />transportation investments are efficient and support <br />broader county goals, including growing our economy, <br />reducing disparities, improving health, enhancing <br />livability, and protecting the natural environment. <br />Mobility 2040 also serves as the transportation <br />component of Hennepin County's Comprehensive Plan <br />as required by Mn Stat. 473, and is consistent with <br />and supports the plans, programs and initiatives of our <br />transportation partners. <br />Mobility 2040: A Family of Plans Approach <br />Mobility 2040 answers the question, "What are we <br />trying to achieve?" It does not answer the question, <br />"How will we do it?"
